Satnam Singh, Attorney at Law, is the principal lawyer, with Satnam Singh, PC, and American Immigration Law Office, PLC, practicing law since 1988, and Immigration Law since 1990.
Satnam Singh is admitted to the Supreme Court of Virginia; the US Supreme Court; the US Courts of Appeals for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and Federal Circuits; Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia; Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia; US Tax Court; US Court of International Trade; and the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana, in India.
His areas of practice include: Litigation, Appeals, Consular Processing, Waivers, Family Immigration, Naturalization, I-9 Review and Audits, and Business Immigration. He obtained his LL.B. * B.Com. degrees from Delhi University, India; J.D. (Eq.), and LL.M. in Tax Law from William & Mary Law School, VA; M.A. in Education (Instructional Technology), from San Jose State University, CA; and M.A. (Politics: International Relations) and M.Phil. (International Studies) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. He has also obtained Diplomas in International Law & Diplomacy; Training and Development; Labor Laws; Personnel Management & Industrial Relations; Tourism & Hotel Management; and Certification in Training Methods for Business and Industry from San Jose State University.
Satnam Singh has been volunteering for several American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) National and Local Committees, Board Member of the Virginia State Bar's International Practice Section, and Chair of the ABA’s GP/Solo International Law Section. He represented the petitioner in Adolfo Rendon BRACAMONTES v. Eric H. HOLDER, 675 F.3d 380 (4th Cir. 2012), and has litigated several immigration cases in the federal District Courts in Virginia, and Courts of Appeals in Virginia and many other states in the US.
